I transformed my rundown garden shed into an Insta-worthy potting station for just £15 – most of it cost nothing
A GARDENER has revealed how she transformed the ruins of her garden shed into a gorgeous potting station, and people can’t believe it’s the same shed.
Taking to the Reddit sub r/gardening the keen gardener shared the incredible before and after snaps of her very impressive makeover.
The insta-ready potting station cost just £15 to complete[/caption]Perhaps what was even more impressive was how much the project cost, with the redditor spending just £15 on the project.
Captioning her post, the Reddit user wrote: “Another Budget Makeover! My Potting Shelter
“I turned this half demolished shed into a potting shelter, by replacing the back wall with old doors, making a bench from the old shed door and pallet wood, Painting the walls black and the bench mint green.
“The bench is on hinges, so can be lifted for storage
“Nearly all the materials were free, Grand total £15!!”
The photos speak for themselves with the before image showing the shed in a state of ruin without even exterior walls.
But after the gardener’s hard work it now looks like something you might find on Pinterest, and fellow Redditors were quick to agree.
Sharing their thoughts in the comments, many admitted that they were jealous of the transformation.
Commenting on the post one wrote, “It looks way more expensive than any budget you may have had.
“I love the black walls and mint green!”
“Absolutely stunning!!” agreed another.
“So jealous of this gorgeous little potting place! It matches my garden colour actually!”
A third added: “Very industrious and very beautiful, congratulations on a well done job. I feel a little jealous.
“Mine is a tin shed with an awning attached and pots and potting equipment strewn everywhere.”
A fourth chimed in: “This looks amazing! Love that it’s aesthetically gorgeous and functional! Great job :)”
