Bankruptcy lawyers demand Giuliani reveals details of his legal work for Trump
Rudy Giuliani could be forced by bankruptcy lawyers to spill a number of his financial secrets — including the exact nature of his legal services to former President Donald Trump — after allegations of "discovery misconduct."
According to Matt Naham of Law & Crime, attorneys for Giuliani's creditors filed a request Thursday that "discovery demands be served via subpoena on Giuliani and third parties, like his companies, his legal defense funds, his son Andrew Giuliani (the 'designated agent' of the Giuliani Defense legal fund), [Giulinai's friend] Maria Ryan, and others."
Giuliani, who has reportedly been suffering from financial difficulties for some time, filed for bankruptcy after a $148 million judgment for defaming Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, whom he had accused of stuffing ballots during the Atlanta vote count in 2020.
Among the discovery demands being made of Giuliani are the "nature of any legal services that you have performed, or continue to perform, for Donald J. Trump." Giuliani helped advise the former president on his efforts to overturn the 2020 election and is indicted alongside him in the Georgia election racketeering case.
In addition to information about his legal services for Trump, attorneys also want to investigate Giuliani's cable TV earnings, and the origin of funds from the Rudy Giuliani Freedom Fund Legal Defense Trust Fund and Giuliani Defense used to pay some of his legal expenses.

“In the Chapter 11 Case, Giuliani has alleged that he has approximately $10.6 million of assets, which amount is dwarfed by nearly $153 million in liabilities,” said the motion. “Given the magnitude of these liabilities — and considering the pending lawsuits against Giuliani and his businesses seek upwards of $4 billion in damages — Giuliani has substantial motivation to continue his historical pattern of financial obfuscation and discovery misconduct.”
This comes as Giuliani also faces a defamation suit from Hunter Biden, from the election equipment companies Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic, and a lawsuit from Noelle Dunphy, a former business associate who accuses him of sexual assault.
