Anne Hathaway Unleashes Her Edgy Alter Ego in This Red Hot Dress for Milan Fashion Week
Anne Hathaway’s latest red carpet look may be one of our all-time favorites, and we’re seriously on our knees.
On Feb 23, Hathaway turned every single head when she arrived at the Versace fashion show during the Milan Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2024-2025. She arrived in a showstopping PVC look that truly showed off her edgy, dark alter ego for the world to marvel at. If you haven’t seen the look for yourself, then check out the pics below:
In the photos, we see the Eileen star looking drop-dead gorgeous in a skintight, red PVC dress that perfectly hugs her curves (and serves edgy goddess). She paired the red Versace dress with a black bag, red stilettos, gold jewelry, and her dark, brunette locks.
While she looks like an edgy, stunning woman unleashing her dark feminine energy, it turns out there was a snag with the dress. In an Instagram clip from Women’s Wear Daily, Hathaway told Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour that she couldn’t turn.
“Can you breathe?” Wintour asked, with Hathaway responding, “Very easily. I can’t turn but I can breathe.”
While she sacrified a bit for the look, Hathaway has a more simple fashion philosophy. And let’s face it: the Academy Award-winning star can rock any trend and look she chooses, she revealed she has a simple personal style, and it’s all about feeling good.
She previously told Vogue, “When I was a younger actress, a lot of the things I did were based in fear, wanting to do something right, and now I don’t mind doing things wrong. I don’t think I’ll fall apart, and the stakes don’t feel so high. So I’m dressing with a lot more gratitude and a lot more joy.”
