I-44/Turner Turnpike near Stroud narrowed to one lane after fatal accident
STROUD, Okla. (KFOR) — The westbound lanes of the Turner Turnpike just east of Stroud have been narrowed to one lane after a fatal auto-pedestrian accident on Friday afternoon.
McIntyre Law Chopper 4 flew over the scene, showing Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers investigating at the scene. Chopper footage also shows traffic backed up for several miles in the westbound lanes due to the lane closures.
Drivers are advised to find an alternate route or expect major delays as crews continue working to clear the scene.
