A DRIVER has revealed how he upgraded his micro-camper which features brand new storage spaces, toilet and a game console.
In the video, Ethan explained how the motor needed a lot of work done including a “new alternator,” welding underneath and changing the interior.
“The first version of the micro-camper was decent but limited in what I can do in there, it was just a bed and some drawers essentially,” he told his viewers.
I wanted to reuse as much of the material as possible but I will have to put in a new sheet of plywood because that will save me around 70ml in height when I’m actually in the car.Ethan Smale
The most important thing when building the interior of a micro-camper is space, according to Ethan.
Luckily his neighbour was getting rid of they’re old kitchen flooring which he used to make a custom rack for his micro-camper.
For the toilet, Ethan added a front seat, which was previously removed for extra space.
He then added a plywood base to the seat of the car and tied an eco-toilet to the base of the seat.
Ethan admits that he would’ve preferred to have more time to make his micro-camper “neater”.
However, his viewers were amazed at the final product which included a game console, bed and working toilet.

In total, it cost him around £170 to upgrade his motor but most of that was spent on the new plywood base and roof bars, Ethan claims.
Ethan also kitted out the interior with the game console and other features which brought it “to just over £400 in total”.
Viewers were amazed at the final product which included a bed and a working toilet.
