“Garage converted into a bedroom with ensuite,” he wrote as he showed off the transformation.
In the before pictures, the garage had a typical white metal up and over style door to keep it secure.
The narrow garage was originally used for storage from the looks of things as it was filled with cardboard boxes.
But the homeowners clearly wanted to make better use of the room.
He started by taking out the door and built a brick wall instead with the addition of a window to let in natural light.
After constructing the wall they then build in a new floor and ceiling before plastering the walls ready for decorating.
We all know garages can be freezing, so they also added a radiator as well as plug sockets around the room.
The narrow garage was fitted with a grey carpet and walls for a neutral look.
The bedroom was kitted out with a double bed, a massive chest of drawers, a TV and even a sofa to create two spaces in one.
To the side of the garage, the man also built a modern ensuite with a gorgeous waterfall shower.
The black and white bathroom had all the other essentials such as a sink and toilet and had herringbone laminated floors.
The clip posted to the construction companies TikTok account @calibrebuilding was a hit with viewers.
Many were stunned by how good the transformation looked considering how narrow the garage was.
One person wrote: “That’s really nice, it looked like it was going to be small, but it’s perfect.”
Another commented: “That’s grand.”
“I love this!!!! Did you have to get planning permission as I wanted to do this too?” penned a third.
“Just building regs for this one but you need to check with your builder and local council as every property and area is different,” he replied.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Very smart.”
