Tanguy Ndombele has come in for scathing criticism for his lack of effort over recent weeks, with Fanatik claiming that the midfielder is getting worse with each game that he plays.
There had been some signs over the past couple of months that the 27-year-old had turned a corner as he had strung a couple of decent performances together.
However, it turns out that the on-loan Tottenham man’s old habits are now rearing their ugly head once again as he has come in for some scathing criticism for his perceived lack of interest.
Calls to drop Ndombele at Galatasaray
Fanatik have not been impressed by what they have seen of the midfielder over recent weeks and they have launched a scathing attack at the player after his performance on Tuesday night against Bandirmaspor in the Turkish Cup.
The outlet writes that Galatasaray ‘have a problem’ in Ndombele, with the midfielder appearing lax and not getting out of second gear during games.
They write that the former Lyon man ‘finishes games without a sprint, avoids tackles, is absent in fast breaks’ and conclude that ‘the more he plays, the worse he gets’.
Fanatik add that the small section of Galatasaray fans who still hope that Ndombele will turn things around ‘must be getting more and more desperate the more they watch him’.
Finally, the publication asserts that the French international is ‘robbing Galatasaray youngsters of their future’ with every minute that he plays.
Spurs Web Opinion
Spurs fans will certainly not be surprised at this any longer as this cycle has become entirely predictable with Ndombele. The North London club might not have any choice but to hand him a payoff to get him off their books at the end of the season.
