Report: Three senior Spurs stars are expected to be offered new contracts
The Athletic say that Spurs are now expected to tie down Rodrigo Bentacnur, Yves Bissouma and Cristian Romero to new contracts sooner rather than later.
Spurs have offered agreed new contracts with both Destiny Udogie and Pape Matar Sarr over the last few months to reflect the pair’s newfound importance to the side, with both youngsters establishing themselves as key parts of Ange Postecoglou’s set-up this season.
If The Athletic’s latest update is to be believed, Tottenham are not yet done offering out new deals, with a number of players in line for pay rises over the coming months.
Three Tottenham stars could be in line for new contracts
The report names Bentancur, Bissouma and Romero as three players who are next in line for extensions, with the trio expected to be key players for Postecoglou in the years to come.
While the Uruguayan and the Malian are currently contracted to Tottenham until 2026, the Argentine’s deal runs until the summer of 2027.
This update comes a couple of months after a few publications reported that the North London club are also planning on sitting down with Son Heung-min to discuss a new deal (90 min).

Tottenham now have the nucleus of a great young squad, with almost everyone barring Son still yet to enter the peak years of their careers. It thus comes as no surprise that the Lilywhites are plotting plans to keep this group together for a few years.
