Thunder fans will be seeing a lot more of Lindy Waters III. The former Oklahoma State standout agreed to a multi-year deal with the Thunder. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, per team policy.
The move was facilitated by the Gordon Hayward trade. With the departures of Tre Mann, Vasa Micic and Davis Bertans, that opened up a pair of roster spots.
Waters III was previously signed on a two-way deal. This contract moves him to the big club full time and will allow him to play in the playoffs.
Waters has appeared in 21 games this season and is averaging seven minutes a game.
