‘The judges have it in for her’ rage Dancing on Ice fans as celeb scrapes through despite low scores

DANCING on Ice fans are convinced the judges already ‘have it in’ for one of the celebrities.

Tonight’s second show saw the remaining six celebrities take to the ice with their first routines.

One of them was set to join Ricky Hatton in the skate off, and by the end of the six routines, comedian Lou Sanders found herself with the lowest score.

Lou had danced to Hung Up by Madonna but the ice panel weren’t as impressed as they were with her fellow competitors and gave her just 19.5 out of 40.

Later, she found herself in the skate off and danced a new routine to Try by Pink, before the judges opted to save her and send Ricky home.

But despite making it through to Movie Week next week, some Dancing on Ice viewers were furious that the 38-year-old had been in the skate off to start with.

Taking to X – formerly Twitter – one raged: “Lou was in the skate off completely unfairly which makes my BLOOD BOIL but on the plus side it seems the entire #DancingOnIce hashtag is filled with people saying she was robbed and that she’s brilliant, JUSTICE FOR LOOOOOU.”

Another added: “Lou shouldn’t have even be in the skate off the judges seem to have it out for her.”

A third tweeted: “There is absolutely no way that lou should have been in the skate off. Claire should have been in the skate off against Ricky Hatton.”

Meanwhile a fourth wrote: “The judging should be based on ability and performance not popularity. Understandable if Lou looked upset, the judges completely shattered her confidence.”

After it was revealed Ricky, 45, would be the first celebrity to go home, hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern asked him how he felt.

The boxer said: “I’m gutted to be going home, I’ve tried to be a winner all my life in everything I’ve done. It’s been a while since I saw the second round.

“I’ve had a great time, I’ve met some wonderful friends, I’d like to thank Robin for all her hard work, the coaches for all their hard work.”

He added that despite his early exit, he would be “going home happy”.

Dancing on Ice airs Sundays on ITV1 and is available on ITVX.
