I wear a necklace filled with my boyfriend’s blood – some people think it’s weird but it’s romantic and looks super cute

THERE are loads of way to show your affection, but one woman has left some people scratching their heads after she revealed the unusual way she keeps a part of her boyfriend with her at all times.

Dani, from New York, wears a heart-shaped pendant full of her boyfriend’s blood which he gifted her.

Her boyfriend gifted her the necklace after spotting the business at an arts fair[/caption]

She explained how she came to own the piece of jewellery on TikTok, and not everyone was convinced by the niche trend.

Her boyfriend had the necklace made when he stumbled across a small business called Belmont Lowe, which specialises in blood jewellery, at an arts fair.

“He went to Belmont Lowe, a blood smith that takes your blood and mixes it with resin to create rings, necklaces, jewellery, art,” she explained.

The price for each item varies, with some rings costing over £370, plus a deposit.

“I loved the rings so much but they were mor expensive so I chose a necklace.

“My boyfriend isn’t scared of needles so he got his blood drawn on site like a champ,” Dani said in the clip.

The result is a large heart pendant surrounded by round diamantes on a gold chain.

Her video quickly racked up over 4.1 million views, with some viewers swooning over the idea of wearing their lover’s blood in a piece of jewellery.

One said: “My boyfriend needs to propose to me this way.”

“I would marry a man if he gave me a necklace of his blood,” a second agreed.

“I want to do this with my boyfriend but I don’t want to creep him out,” another joked.

But not everyone was so positive and one person slammed: “This is literally insane sorry.”

“Couldn’t pay me to wear that,” someone else quipped.

But despite what some people thought about her new accessory, Dani loved it and said it would make “the perfect gift for the witchy goth girl in your life.”
