“It is very dangerous to drive in this situation, so use this function quickly,” he captioned the post.
The TikToker tells viewers that misty windows are easy to solve before wiping his index finger across the windshield, leaving a line in the condensation.
“Driving in the rain, our windshield is very easy to fog up,” he said.
“You use a towel to wipe less than a minute after wiping the fog will come out again”.
The driver then reiterates how dangerous it is to drive in conditions where the windows are steamed up.
But then, the TikToker revealed the one simple trick that could save you not just time – but paper towels too.
Reaching towards the control panel, he points at the air conditioner symbol.
“We just need to turn on the car air conditioner,” he says.
“Find and open the defog button on the centre console, wait a while, and the fog on the windshield will all disappear”.
The filmmaker videoed the windscreen as the condensation rapidly melted off the windows, providing a clear view of the outside and the road ahead.
Make Driving Simpler’s post racked up over a mega 3800 likes and impressed viewers were quick to leave comments.
