Gemma Collins reveals her weight loss secret after losing half a stone in a WEEK
GEMMA Collins has revealed she’s lost nearly half a stone in just a week – and all without cutting out her favourite foods.
The star has been open about her goal to lead a healthy life and often posts about hitting the gym.
Gemma Collins, pictured on a recent holiday, shared the secret to her weight loss[/caption]Gemma, 42, revealed she started on lifestyle plan Slimming World and said: “I can’t believe I have lost half a stone and haven’t gone without.”
She posted another photo revealing her exact gains, sharing: “6.5lbs” alongside a string of stunned face emojis.
She recently said she is determined to lose weight through natural methods and regular exercise.
The reality star said said: “Good morning Instagam, that is my exercise done for the day. If anyone is struggling for the day, get up.
“I’ve been moving and I’ve got to say I feel amazing, I feel invigorated, I am ready for my weekend.
“Yes I’ve been sweating, yes I’ve been in terrible pain this week, but no pain no gain.”
The ex-Towie legend also addressed comments telling her that she should get weight loss surgery.
Gemma said: “A lot of people say ‘Gemma you’ve struggled with your weight for so long, just go and have the operation’.
“But there is still that part in me that just wants to do it naturally and doesn’t want to give up.
“I am not knocking anyone that’s had the op because everyone’s stories are different but for me I am a bit scared of operations, so this is going to take me a while.
“I really feel positive this time, health is wealth. You can have all the money in the world, but if you don’t feel healthy you ain’t got nothing.
“So if you’re feeling unmotivated today – get up, get moving and just feel yourself and you’re going to be just fine.”
Earlier this year, Gemma told The Sun that she’s struggled with her weight for years so tries not to focus on it.
Discussing her everyday fitness and diet, Gemma explained: “I wouldn’t say there has been major struggles when it comes to my weight, its more everyday fitness things.
“I’ll be honest and say I can’t stand the gym. I’m more of an outdoorsy girl, swimming, walking, bike riding – I need to be motivated by nature when I’m exercising.
“I am quite fit, don’t get me wrong I can’t run a marathon, but I certainly think I could walk one.”
