Now Hiring – Dance Instructor
Sun Country Sports Center® has immediate openings for experienced Dance Instructors at our West location near Tioga. All positions require professional teaching experience, thorough training and knowledge of dance technique/ discipline, classroom management skills, and strong work ethic. All classes are year-round. Preference for instructors able to make a minimum 2-year commitment and those who have the training, experience, and ability to teach multiple styles, ages, and levels. A teaching demonstration by the applicant will be required as part of the interview process.
INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED TAP DANCE TEACHER – Must have formal training and experience in teaching highest levels of Tap dance.
INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED JAZZ DANCE TEACHER – Must have formal training and experience in teaching intermediate through advanced levels of Jazz, including traditional jazz, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, and hip-hop.
PRESCHOOL DANCE TEACHER– Must have formal dance training and experience in teaching dance to young children. Classes include Parent/Child dance classes (ages 18 months – 3); Dance Tots (ages 2.6-3.11); and PreBallet / Pre-Tap/HipHop classes (ages 4-5).
BALLET/TAP/JAZZ/MODERN BASICS – Classes include multiple levels of Ballet and Tap/Jazz (ages 6 & up); and Modern classes (ages 9 & up). Must have formal training and experience in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern, as well as experience teaching and/or working with children of all ages.
Also seeking an experienced ballet teacher to work with USAG gymnasts; as well as preschool dance for local afterschool programs.

Working Conditions
Normal working conditions absent extreme factors. Offices are located inside our multi-sport facility, and is a fast-pace, dynamic work environment. Sun Country is open 7 days per week, excluding major holidays, and provides customer service anytime business is open.
