Severe storms, tornadoes possible across Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - The potential for severe weather is back in the forecast for Thursday.
As storms to the west fizzle out on Thursday morning, the chances for severe storms forming Thursday afternoon increase.
Look for storms to form in western Oklahoma by mid-to-late afternoon, then moving eastward through the evening hours.

The main threats include very large hail, damaging winds, and a few strong tornadoes.

Storms are expected to form in the central part of the state from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and everyone should be prepared.

Now is the time to clean out those storm shelters!
Once the storms move through on Thursday, there will be another risk for wind and hail on Friday.
