Coronation Street fans ‘work out’ who Stephen Reid will murder next
Coronation Street fans have worked out the identity of Stephen Reid’s next victim.
The serial killer – who is played by actor Todd Boyce in the ITV soap – has already killed Leo and Teddy Thompkins.
Now he’s set his sights on Carla Connor, drugging her so he can steal Underworld from her.
Tonight he spiked her with LSD again after she humiliated him during a meeting and she spiralled out of control.
But this time investor Rufus had worked out what Stephen had done and confronted him with blackmail in mind.
He asked him: “When did you start spiking her? Looked like a bad trip to me. I saw you on the street.”
“I feel like Sherlock Holmes,” Rufus said.
“What a thrill it is knowing I’ve cracked the case wide open.”
As Stephen tried to deny it, Rufus gave him his options: “I could tell her.
“Or I could tell the police. Or I could tell her husband.”
Stephen told him he would expose his cheating to his wife – but that didn’t have the expected outcome.
Rufus added: “My wife’s left me and while I can’t deny I’m not totally devastated she wants the house, the 4X4, the kids but there is one silver lining.
“I can’t lose anymore. So you go tell her whatever you like and I’ll have a word with your boss.”
Forced to back down, Stephen had to ask Rufus what it would take to keep him quiet – but fans think Stephen will simply kill Rufus to keep his secrets hidden.
One wrote: “Rufus will end up in a roofbox if he don’t get on his toes and keep out of it.”
A second said: “Uh oh… looks like Stephens next murder victims been selected.”
Another added: “Stephen’s gonna do away with Rufus now ain’t he?”
