San Rafael pedestrian struck by vehicle
A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in downtown San Rafael on Wednesday, police said.
The incident was reported shortly after 7:15 a.m. at Lincoln Avenue and Second Street, police said. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Lincoln Avenue was closed between Second and Third streets for more than two hours while police investigated.
Police did not immediately say whether there had been any arrests.
