As 14 wickets fell on the opening day of the third Test in Indore, India batting coach Vikram Rathour called the pitch 'challenging', defending his batters' disastrous outing. India folded for a lowly 109 -- their fourth lowest total against Australia at home -- inside two sessions as Rathour termed the batting collapse an 'off day'.
