This Week in Pippa Passes
This week in Pippa Passes will be busy and exciting with various campus events to attend.
This weekend, the Eagles and Lady Eagles basketball teams will face off against St. Mary of the Woods in a home doubleheader tipping off at 1pm and 3pm Saturday the 21st.
When the school week starts, representatives from the Social Security Administration will be in the Davis Student Center foyer from 11am to 1pm on Monday, January 23rd to speak to interested graduating seniors about jobs with the department. Interested seniors can see Director of Career Services Nathan Hall for more information.
Tuesday, January 24th is the Kentucky Blood Center’s Blood Drive from 11 am to 3 pm in Cushing Hall. The event is hosted by ALC’s Student Government Association and they wish to remind potential donors to have their photo ID ready. Donating students may fill out a community service card at the event for convocation credit. If you plan on donating, please make an appointment online at kybloodcenter.org or by calling 800-775-2522. For more information about the event, contact Dean of Women Christine Stumbo or SGA President Jonathan Blair.
Student Services wishes to remind resident students that Resident Advisors will be conducting their biweekly dormitory Room Checks on Thursday, January 26th.
Also happening this week, the basketball teams travel to compete against IU Southeast at 5:30pm and 7:30pm on Tuesday the 24th and against Midway University at 1pm and 3pm on Saturday the 28th.
