Moms Visit Elizabeth Warren’s Office, Tell Her to Stop Attacking Pregnancy Centers
A group of mothers and children showed up at U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s office Wednesday to offer her real-life examples of how pro-life pregnancy centers help women and save babies’ lives.
Warren, a pro-abortion Democrat from Massachusetts, has smeared pregnancy resource centers repeatedly, even going so far as to claim they “torture” women and should be “shut down.”
But their own clients say nothing could be further from the truth.
Speaking with Warren’s staff on Wednesday, several mothers shared how the pro-life medical clinic Stanton Healthcare supported and encouraged them through difficult pregnancy situations, according to a press release from the Stanton Public Policy Center and Purple Sash Revolution.
The Rev. Patrick Mahoney, chief strategy officer for Stanton, said it was an “incredible moment” as mothers with babies in their arms asked Warren’s staff to visit the pro-life medical clinic and see for themselves.

A group of mothers also plans to visit U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s office Thursday to explain how pro-life organizations helped their families and many others. The effort is part of the #NotFakeToMe campaign organized by Stanton Public Policy Center and the Purple Sash Revolution.
Brandi Swindell, CEO and founder of Stanton, stressed how important it is for lawmakers like Warren and Ocasio-Cortez, D-New York, to hear these women’s stories and see their babies.
“Since Roe v. Wade was overturned, pro-life centers have been subjected to violent physical attacks and some members of Congress have condemned pregnancy medical clinics and resource centers, called them ‘fake clinics’ and are calling for their regulation or closure,” Swindell said.
She welcomed both lawmakers to visit Stanton Healthcare’s fully-accredited medical clinic in Meridian, Idaho to learn how pro-life advocates are providing professional medical care, practical resources and emotional support to pregnant and parenting mothers, including those in refugee and other marginalized communities.
“Stanton’s hope is that we can find areas of unity to help empower more women in our communities when they face an unexpected pregnancy,” Swindell said.
Pregnancy resource centers, maternity homes and other pro-life charities exist to support mothers and babies and save lives. Most are small, local organizations that operate with a small staff, volunteers and private donations. They serve millions of families every year across the U.S., but their work has been under increasing attack by politicians like Warren and radical abortion activists.
According to an analysis by the Charlotte Lozier Institute, pregnancy resource centers have helped save more than 800,000 unborn babies from abortion since 2016. The research found U.S. pregnancy resource centers served about 2 million people in 2019, providing more than 730,000 pregnancy tests, nearly half a million ultrasounds, 1.3 million packs of diapers and more than 2 million baby outfits, all for free.
