Autumnwatch viewers are all saying the same thing as Chris Packham can’t stop rubbing his thighs in awkward scenes
AUTUMNWATCH host Chris Packham left viewers baffled tonight as he couldn’t stop rubbing his thighs beside co-star Michaela Strachan.
The passionate naturalist was so excited to be looking for goshawks on Wild Ken Hill, Norfolk, he couldn’t resist a good trouser rub.
He encouraged Michaela to join him but she insisted it wasn’t her style.
She said: “You’re gonna wear them out, Chris.”
He replied: “Come on, you can do it.”
Giggling, Michaela responded: “No, I don’t do that sort of thing.”

Determined to get her involved, Chris said: “Let me. Just one finger.”
He then placed his index finger on her leg and gently moved it up and down.
It prompted Michaela to joke: “And that’s the closest he’s ever got to me despite the rumours.”
Viewers weren’t sure how to react to the unusual opening.

A second wrote: “How creepy is chris packham with michaela. Just uncomfortable watching.”

While a fourth commented: “Trouser-rubbing at the off.”
Last night’s show had them equally as amused.
During the programme, Chris delivered a piece to camera about the functionality of ecosystems using some baked beans as a visual prop.
The presenter was on location in the woodland where night had begun to fall.
However it wasn’t what Chris was actually saying that had the viewers of the nature show talking at home.
They were all left completely distracted by some actual wildlife which had actually run onto the show’s set.

An oblivious Chris continued to speak to the camera as a large number of ponies began to appear in the space behind him.
Chris was left totally unaware as the ponies began to charge in the background, running from one side of the screen to the other.
Fans were left chuckling at home and shared their delight on Twitter.
