Oz campaign attacks Fetterman's campaign for hiring brothers wrongfully jailed for 27 years
Pennsylvania’s Senate race between John Fetterman and snake oil salesman Mehmet Oz continues to be lopsided. On the one hand you have a progressive candidate who is offering up a platform of policies and ideas for making both Pennsylvania and the country a better place, and on the other hand there’s Oz. Since Oz has no policy (or medical) remedies for anyone, he has tried very hard to attack Fetterman’s health and Fetterman’s lack of wealth.
In return, Fetterman has pointed out that Oz is a very obvious carpetbagger who has lived in New Jersey for virtually his entire adult life, and whose wealth and celebrity has made him both an out of touch elite and someone who lies about almost everything he does and says. Oz and his campaign, for its part, have made Fetterman’s job pretty easy the last couple of months.
As a result, the Oz campaign has become more desperate of late, swinging well below the belt in their lying about Fetterman. In fact, most of us believed they had reached their nadir when they attacked Fetterman for surviving a stroke. On Thursday, the Oz campaign proved that when you think you’ve reached the bottom, a Republican can find some wiggle room to go even lower.
