Carl Froch reignites war of words with UFC star Conor McGregor as he once again slates Dubliner’s boxing skills
FORMER unified super middleweight champion Carl Froch has taken aim at Conor McGregor as he reignited the pair’s war of words.
McGregor slammed Froch earlier this month while the Nottingham ace was an analyst on the Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua 2 broadcast.
‘The Notorious’ lashed out at the Brit as he tweeted: “The froch tick little scrawny pencil neck I’ll grab his head and twist it clean off at a 1er with my bare hands.
“Little Wally of a ting I’ll Slap you around you little toffee nose toss pot.”
Froch hit back by replying after the Crumlin fighters criticism: “Who is this mouthy little pr*** talking to? I will drag you outside with that wispy beard & show you how the big boys do it!!”
The former boxer claimed that McGregor “couldn’t punch the skin off a rice pudding” in an interview earlier this year.
AND once again he has slated the UFC star by quoting a video of the Dubliner hitting pads in training as he once again took the exact same jibe at McGregor.
The social media post read yet again: “McGregor can’t punch, he couldn’t knock the skin off a rice pudding.”
Meanwhile, McGregor has hailed Demetrious Johnson as ‘incredible’ for his knock-out win to regain the ONE Championship flyweight title.
The Dubliner paid tribute to ‘Mighty Mouse’ after he avenged last year’s defeat to Adriano Moraes with a vicious flying knee.
Johnson, 36, was the inaugural UFC flyweight champion and held the title for six years with 11 successful defences.
However, his UFC career ended acrimoniously as he was traded to ONE Championship for Ben Askren after losing his first title defence to Henry Cejudo.
Taking to Twitter, McGregor was full of praise for Johnson, saying: “Quite incredible yet again by the mighty mouse!”
