UPDATE ROUND 6
Round 6 saw Scotland take on another home nation in Wales Silures. It was a tough battle as you would expect from two teams in the UK, bragging right`s were at stake!
It ended in a 2 -2 draw with FM Andrew Burnett getting his first win of the tournament on board one! Neil Farrell on board two could not hold on for the draw and lost his match. Boards 3 & 4 were drawn.
This leaves Scotland in 14th place with 3 rounds left. Still time to climb that table a little bit!
The favourites, England 1 lead the way, closely followed by USA. In round 7, Scotland plays the Polish Amateurs who sit above them in 9th place. A good result here would be a bonus for Scotland and I think we are due some luck and an upset!
