Kerry Katona rushed to hospital in ‘unbearable pain’ after singer’s stomach swelled up

KERRY Katona was rushed to hospital after being hit with waves of “unbearable” stomach pain.

The 41-year-old Atomic Kitten singer said she put off going to the doctor but was left feeling like “I want my belly to rip open”.

Kerry worried fans last week when she posted a picture of her arm hooked up to a drip.

Writing in New magazine, she told fans: “I was in hospital over the weekend, which wasn’t ideal.

“I’ve been having stomach problems and I initially thought the pain might have been something to do with the cyst in my ovary that I discovered last year.

“But it turned out it was IBS. My stomach swelled up and was hurting badly. It’s been happening a lot – and I get these horrible, eggy burps.”

Kerry, who recently had a boob reduction, added: “My stomach looks so big, I could pass for pregnant.”

The singer explained she tried to put it off, adding: “The pain became unbearable, so I had to go to hospital.

“Thankfully, everything is fine. But staying in A&E on a Friday night was an experience. It was scary, sad and traumatic.”

Mum of five  wrote: “Not really where I wanna be,” followed by three crying Emoji faces.

Kerry recently went under the knife for a boob reduction, showing off the results after removing her bandages earlier this month.

She later told fans: “I was in hospital over the weekend, just with my stomach, but it’s all good, nothing to worry about.”

Kerry seemed more interested in her new boobs following her recent breast reduction surgery.

Filming from the passenger seat of her new Lamborghini as fiance Ryan Mahoney drove, Kerry said: “I can’t get over how amazing my boobies are. Just the healing process. They look so good.”

She added: “I’ve still got time off work as I’m still recovering, but I’m off for a nice lunch with my new boobs.”
