The Games’ Christine McGuinness in tears at stadium after admitting fear of crowds after autism and ADHD diagnosis
THE games fans were concerned for Christine McGuinness after she broke down in tears at the stadium after admitting her fear of crowds following her autism and ADHD diagnosis.
The 34-year-old revealed last week she was determined to face her hear of crowds after she was diagnosed with ADHD just months after learning she has autism.
Fans flocked to Twitter after seeing the former Real Housewives of Cheshire star Christine sob on the show.
One said: “People saying about Christine McGuinness being upset so early in. They don’t get how hard it is for someone to with autism to push out of there comfort zone and how different environments can affect a person.”
A second Tweeted: “Not a big fan of sports but watching #thegames on ITV and really want Christine McGuinness to do well. Her being autistic – freezing up, crying and struggling to cope – really hits me because that’s how I struggle, too.”
A third chimed in: “After watching Christine’s documentary this must be her worst nightmare doing this show #TheGames.”

Just earlier this week Christine revealed she had been diagnosed with ADHD just months after learning she has autism.
The 34-year-old broke down in tears when she was told in August that she was “high up the spectrum”, having scored highly on a questionnaire measuring for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Take Me Out’s host Paddy McGuinness‘s wife was optimistic about her attention deficit hyperactivity disorder diagnosis.
She added: “Knowledge is key. If you know the situation, you’re able to deal with it. So getting a diagnosis has really opened up my life.”

Her three children, twins Penelope and Leo, eight, and five-year-old Felicity were all diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at a young age, and Christine has been open about the challenges of parenting the youngsters.
Despite her fears of crowds, Christine was determined to conquer them by joining the star-studded line up for ITV’S The Games.
She was spotted with sports tape on her leg during filming, suggesting she – like her other costars- was feeling the pain from the gruelling training.

She was up against six other female celebrities for a chance to win The Games.
They included Love Island’s Olivia Attwood and Dancing on Ice star, Mel B’s daughter Phoenix Chi and newsreader Lucrezia Millarini.
