After weeks into the first season, fans are eager to know what the ultimate prize the winner of the American Song Contest will receive.
What does the winner receive?
Ahead of the finale, fans are curious to know what the winner will get on May 9 when the final contestant is crowned.
The American Song Contest winner is set to win the title of Best Original Song for their music, Distractify reports.
On that day the winner will be voted for by the national jury and public voting occurring in real-time.
As of now, no other prizes have been confirmed by the show or any other outlets.

The outlet also reports that a similar prize as the Eurovision show could occur for the American Song Contest.
Eurovision is the singing competition of Europe that inspired the American version of the show.
On Eurovision, the winner gets to take home a glass trophy along with the winning country being honored to host the next season.
Who are the finalists on the American Song Contest?
The Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson-led show announced the finalists ahead of the finale on May 9.

There are a total of 10 contestants who have made it to the show’s final rounds.
The finalists include:

- Chloe Fredericks of North Dakota (Fan-Voted)
- Grant Knoche of Texas (Fan-Voted)
- Tenelle of American Samoa (Fan-Voted)
- Tyler Braden of Tennessee (Jury Pick No. 2)
- Ni/Co of Alabama (Fan-Voted)
- Jordan Smith of Kentucky (Fan-Voted)
- Riker Lynch of Colorado (Fan-Voted)
- AleXa of Oklahoma (Fan-Voted)
- Allen Stone of Washington (Jury Pick No. 1)
Over 20 artists made it to the semi-finals, but that number was then cut in half heading into the finals.
How can I watch American Song Contest?
American Song Contest airs on a weekly basis on the NBC network.
Viewers can watch the live episodes on Monday nights from 8pm to 10pm ET.
The hit show is also available for fans to stream on Hulu or Peacock.
Kelly and Snoop’s news of hosting the show was first announced during the Super Bowl LVI halftime show on February 13, 2022.
“I am honored to host American Song Contest alongside my lil sis Kelly Clarkson, aka Miss Texas,” said Snoop in a statement.
