[Men's Tennis] Men's Tennis Honors Announced
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - (Complete Honors) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced its 2022 Men's Tennis Honors in conjunction with the league's tournament.
UNOH junior Sergio Conde repeated as Player of the Year after posting a 15-5 singles record and a 10-1 doubles record with Marcos Salazar. Newcomer of the Year went to freshman Evan Morgan of Lawrence Tech who had a 10-3 singles record.
UNOH head coach Jeff Brown repeated as Coach of the Year after guiding the Racers to the regular-season championship. The coaches voted Aquinas head coach Jerry Hendrick as the sport's Champion of Character Coach.
In addition to First Team All-Conference, the WHAC also announced its All-Academic Team (juniors or above in academic standing with cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and in attendance at nominating school for one full year) and the Champions of Character Team (best represents the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership).
