Why it stands out: Simplifi by Quicken is ideal for someone who wants to maintain an organized budget. The budgeting app is incredibly detailed and breaks down your saving and spending beyond what a standard budgeting app does.

Simplifi works best if you start by connecting all your bank accounts, investments accounts, and credit cards. This way, you'll be able to create a dashboard that provides an overview of your finances. It also analyzes your spending and savings through charts and data.

You can create a monthly spending plan with different categories or develop individual savings goals. If you want to get more detailed information, the app has a watchlist that tracks areas in your spending, and it can monitor bills to make sure you pay them on time.

The app also provides monthly reports for spending, gross income, net income, savings, and shopping refunds.

What is Simplifi by Quicken?

Simpfli is a budgeting app by the money management software Quicken. Simplifi lets you link all your bank accounts, investments accounts, and credit cards to the app and develop a spending budget. You'll also be able to add and track multiple savings goals. 

Simplfi is not a free app. While there's a 30-day free trial,  you'll have to sign up for a subscription when you create your account. If you decide you don't want to keep using Simplifi, cancel within the first 30 days to avoid being charged.

Trim will be a strong option if you're looking for more detailed ways to reduce your spending. The app tells you where you may be able to save money, and it will negotiate bills for you. If you use Bill Negotiation, you'll have to pay 15% of the amount you saved with the tool yearly. Mint offers a similar service, but you'll have to pay 40% of the savings you've earned during a service period, which is around two years. 

Simplifi doesn't have a free version, only a 30-day free trial. It might be worth exploring if you haven't found an appealing budgeting app or if you are searching for a budgeting tool that provides detailed information about your spending and saving. Simplifi lets you create a watchlist for specific categories in your spending and includes monthly reports on your income, spending, and more. 

Your decision may also come down to which platforms you'd like to use. Simplifi and Mint are available online and through apps. Meanwhile, Trim is only available through Facebook or your Google email account.
