Teen Mom Jenelle Evans slammed for calling husband David Eason ‘the best chef’ as fans bash their cooking videos
CRITICS slammed Jenelle Evans for boasting about her husband David Eason’s cooking skills after they called his recipes “gross.”
The Teen Mom 2 alum bragged about another dish her hubby whipped up, branding him as “the best chef.”
Jenelle shared a snap of her meal on her Instagram Stories, salivating over the breakfast sandwich David made for her.
The 30-year-old zoomed in on the stacked sandwich to show off it’s layers of egg, bacon, and mayonnaise on white bread in the light before she took a bite.
She gushed over her husband’s cooking writing: “OMG , @easondavid88 is the BEST chef,” along with a pink heart and laughing face emoji.
Fans however, didn’t think the sandwich was anything to rave about after a Reddit user shared the post including the caption: “Apparently, this makes David a “chef” ….”
Another person questioned David’s skills in the kitchen commenting: “That bacon looks raw and the bread is isn’t toasted.”
While a second agreed replying: “It needed alot more time in the frying pan.
”

A third wasn’t impressed at all by the creation writing: “Eggs, mayo, bacon and white bread….Wow what a chef.”
As another echoed the statement responding: “This is no “chef” material.”
‘DISGUSTING’
Fans bashed the reality star’s cooking before as Janelle often showed off her husband’s creations.
She recently revealed the contents of a “mukbang” the pair were making for dinner in a TikTok video, prompting some to voice their opinions about the dish.
“We got a little, mini smoke-less grill. We got some seafood and we’ve got some steak, pork, and chicken, she said as she scanned the camera over the grill.
“It’s gonna be really good,” she added, panning towards David, 33, eyeing the food. “I can already tell.”
Viewers didn’t quite agree, though, with many taking to Reddit to slam the food in the video, saying it all looked “disgusting.”
One user joked that instead of mukbang, it was more like “yuckbang.”
Another felt queasy after watching the clip, wondering: “Can you have second hand food poisoning?
“Because I feel like she just gave us second hand food poisoning.”
A third asked: “Why does her foods always look like vomit on a plate?”
The couple were also previously blasted for their “homemade hoshdogs” as fans couldn’t quite get on board with the breakfast dish.
UNHEALTHY EATING HABITS
Some commented on the couple’s eating habits, writing: “These people eat entirely too much meat.
“I’ve never seen them once film themselves cooking or incorporating a god damn vegetable into their food.”
Jenelle has admitted in the past that she was trying to incorporate healthier foods into her diet, however, she doesn’t appear to have changed her ways based off the items in her shopping cart earlier this week.
The mom-of-three shared a post of her overflowing grocery cart, with the caption: “Just now preparing for the #WinterStorm.”
Her cart looked packed with fatty foods, including a package of cookies front and center, frozen Eggo’s, French Toast sticks, and a cube of butter.
On Reddit, fans criticized her shopping list.
One parent shared: “I buy my kids junk food too but they also have 3 snack bins to choose from including fruit, applesauce, string cheese and yogurt. I would never get to the French toast sticks level.”
Another added: “My god. And then she wonders why she has health problems and why her kids are hyper.”
While a third agreed: “For someone with so many health issues, you’d think she would try to eat better.”
Jenelle lives in North Carolina, which is currently dealing with what is being called a “once-in-a-decade” ice storm for the southern states, which prompted other fans to wonder about the types of food she was buying.
