Inside Ferne McCann’s festival themed party as she unveils bubblegum pink hair
FERNE McCann partied in style over the weekend as she rang in her 30th birthday with a festival-themed bash.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star – who postponed her party by a year due to the coronavirus pandemic – stunned in a pink wig as she danced the night away.
Ferne, 31, moved her special festival party back by a year in order to avoid any restrictions and limitations on her and her guests.
The reality star looked to be making up for lost time as she went all out for the bash on Sunday, throwing ‘Ferne Fest’ at her Essex home.
Mother-of-one Ferne took to her Instagram stories to give her fans a glimpse into the “extra” celebrations, documenting her special day.
She kicked things off by showing off her incredible figure in a tiny carnival-style ensemble – one of many outfits she donned throughout the night.
Her host of famous friends were treated to live music and abundance of food and drink at ‘Ferne Fest’, which went on late into the night.
Ferne introduced the party to her 2.6million Instagram followers on Monday as she looked back on some of the memories from the night.
“I finally got to have my BIG 30th birthday celebrations,” she wrote. “What a festival it was. I danced the day away with my favourite people.

“I apologise in advance for the photo spam that is going to hit the gram over the next few days. I have so many epic people I want to thank.”
She concluded alongside the first snap of herself: “If you can’t be extra on your 30th, (despite being 31 now) then when can you.”
In the snap, Ferne could be seen sporting a long pink wig trailing down her chest, as well as impressive gold headpiece to decorate it.
She paired a beaded two-piece bralette and skirt with a fluffy pink jacket and long knee-high boots in festival fashion.
On her Instagram stories, Ferne showed off her second outfit of the night – a black two-piece set consisting of biker shorts and a low-cut top.
She then went on to change into a third outfit, a red ensemble, as she got up on stage and danced in front of a crowd of friends.
Videos reposted to her social media from friends show a live band playing music at one point in the night as well as a DJ.
Under Ferne’s saucy snap posted to her grid, her famous friends, includign former Towie star Dannielle Armstrong, rushed to compliment her.
Sam and Billie Faiers also told their friend and former co-star how they had “so much fun”, taking to their own social media pages to show off the bash.
Ferne’s party comes days after she was seen breaking down in tears after splitting with her ex Jack Padgett in a heartbreaking moment in First Time Mum.
A teaser clip for the show saw a distraught Ferne struggling to come to terms with the end of the relationship.
With tears in her eyes, she tells the camera: “Me and Jack split up. I still feel like I’m in a state of shock.”
Back in June The Sun revealed Ferne and Jack had broken up because they were at “different stages in life”.
A source exclusively told us: “Ferne said it was a case of ‘right guy wrong time’. It was clear to all of us that they were both on different paths.
“Jack’s life revolves around hosting events and nightlife because that’s his job. Whereas Ferne is all about family, work and security.”
