TWO young women suffered serious injuries after a car “deliberately” rammed into them as they walked on the pavement.

The driver of the car then fled the scene in what West Midlands Police believe was a targeted attack.
The pair were taken to hospital where they both remain in a serious condition.
Lower High Street was cordoned off as officers gathered evidence today. Forensic teams were also at the scene.
