A NURSERY worker has won £39,535 after her boss refused to let her attend hospital appointments when pregnant.
Simone Cousins, 29, was then fired over trumped-up allegations of falsifying wages.
Maria Noble, boss of the Northampton nursery, unreasonably denied her requests for hospital appointments over her pregnancy, a Norwich employment tribunal heard.
Ruling she was unfairly dismissed, Judge Robin Postle called her “honest and trustworthy”.
Her daughter, three, was born with a heart illness.
