Pacers Tuesday Injury Report vs. 76ers
According to the NBA’s injury report, the Indiana Pacers will be without Malcolm Brogdon (hamstring), Jeremy Lamb (knee), and Edmond Sumner (knee) for Tuesday’s home game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Indiana is currently the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference, and they’re just a half-game ahead of the Washington Wizards, who are hot on their tail.
The good news for the Pacers is that they’ll likely qualify for the playoff play-in tournament as the Bulls are currently 11th in the conference and trail them by three games. The bad news, of course, is that the Wizards can leap ahead of them.
If the season ended today, the Pacers would face the Hornets in the play-in game while the Wizards would take on the Celtics.
One can only wonder if either the Pacers or Wizards would prefer to face the Celtics now that they’re without one of their stars for the rest of the season in Jaylen Brown (torn wrist ligament).
