Crash kills 3 including tow truck driver near Castle Rock
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Three people were killed in a crash on Interstate 5 a few miles south of Castle Rock Saturday afternoon, Washington State Patrol reported.
Anna-Christie Ireland,43, was driving northbound when she struck the back of a second parked vehicle on the side of the road. The impact caused the second vehicle to run into a tow truck driver who was standing in between his truck and the other vehicle. He died at the scene.
Both the driver and another passenger in the second vehicle died at the scene.
Investigators said they believe Ireland may have been driving under the influence.
Ireland now faces three vehicular manslaughter charges.
