Boy, 4, rushed to hospital after being hit by car in horror crash
A four-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in a serious crash in Scotland.
The incident happened on Langside Drive, Blackridge, West Lothian, at around 6.15pm on Saturday April 3.
The child was struck by a red coloured Vauxhall Mokka car that was travelling south.
The boy was taken by ambulance to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh, where he is still being treated for injuries.
Hospital staff describe his condition as stable.
The 44-year-old female driver was not physically injured.
West Lothian Police confirmed the details of Facebook and Twitter.
Constable Darren Gallagher at the Road Policing Department has asked for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact officers.
