Cyprus get their first win in World Cup qualifying
Cyprus recorded the first win of their 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign with a 1-0 victory over Slovenia at the GSP stadium in Nicosia on Tuesday night.
Apollon star Ioannis Pittas scored the only goal in the 42nd minute, leaving Cyprus in fourth place in Group H, with four points from their opening three games.
