Nets Forward Jeff Green is Ruled Out Tonight vs. Rockets
The Brooklyn Nets will be without Jeff Green tonight when they take on the Houston Rockets. Green is battling a right shoulder contusion, and the Nets have opted to keep him out of the final game before the All-Star break. Green has started 16 games this season and has a 13.61 usage rate and a player efficiency rating of 14.11.
His absence should result in more minutes for Nicolas Claxton and DeAndre Jordan. Jordan would be a player to target tonight in daily fantasy, especially when you factor in the Rockets’ lack of depth in their frontcourt.
Houston is still without Christian Wood, and they haven’t been able to find a suitable replacement while he’s been sidelined. Jordan should be able to put up solid numbers tonight, and he could be a candidate for a double-double against a Rockets team that’s in the bottom half of the league in defensive rebounds (33.9 per game).
As far as the spread is concerned, money continues to pour in on the Nets as they’ve been bet up as a favorite from 6.5 up to 10.
