THE much-watched Netflix thriller You will have a season three, much to the delight of the show’s fans.
The second season was viewed by more than 54 million people, according to What’s on Netflix.
When will season three of You air?
Season three of You will air on Netflix in 2021, but exact dates have not been announced.
It was revealed last year that the series would return.
Who is in the cast of You?
Penn Badgley – the Gossip Girl star – stars as Joe, a “dangerously charming, intensely obsessive young man” who injects himself into the lives of others, according to Netflix.
The series has also featured such actors as Victoria Pedretti, Ambyr Childers, Elizabeth Lail, and others.
Badgley‘s Joe moved from New York to Los Angeles for season two and changed his name to “Will.”
What is the plot of You?
The series is based on the 2014 bestseller You written by Caroline Kepnes, who is one of the writers for the show.
“When a beautiful aspiring writer strides into the East Village bookstore where Joe Goldberg works, he does what anyone would do: he Googles the name on her credit card,” reads the book description.
In season one Joe went to great lengths – including murder – to get the attention of aspiring author Guinevere Beck, played by Lail.

The plot of season three is not yet known, but new cast members include Scott Michael Foster, Scott Speedman, Travis Van Winkle, Shalita Grant, Saffron Burrows, Dylan Arnold, and Tati Gabrielle, according to Deadline.
Foster will play a television reporter who has his share of secrets, Deadline reported.
