Sharing a snap of her crutches resting against the wall on Twitter, she wrote: “It’s official! As of today, I’m crutchless!!!!! xxxx”.
The cobbles star, who is set to return to the soap next year for a big send-off, has also been sharing snaps of a puppy her husband Jon McEwan bought for her earlier in the year.
Posting a shot of the sweet black pup, Beverley wrote: “Obviously, not one of @jonmac best ideas, he got me a surprise, Arthur! Timing wasn’t great.”

It’s been quite the year for Beverley, with Corrie fans initially left confused when the actress suddenly disappeared from Coronation Street six months ago.
But Beverley later revealed her absence was caused by a minor hip operation that went disastrously wrong – and left her needing a full hip replacement.
The operation, which left Beverley unable to walk, made the actress fear she’d be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life.

But having summoned the strength her Corrie character Liz is known and loved for, Beverley is focusing on her recovery so that she can return to the cobbles.
She told the Mirror: “I love playing her [Liz] and she has inspired me to want to get on my feet again so I can do it one last time.”
She is also set to appear on the 2020 edition of I’m a Celebrity, if she is fit enough to appear. Friends recently suggested she is determined to win the show.
