Ghislaine Maxwell’s ‘VIP jail treatment’ will make her a target after inmates ‘had to polish floors for her’, lag claims
GHISLAINE Maxwell will be made a target in prison after inmates had to polish floors for her arrival, it’s been claimed.
Sources say the woman alleged to have served as Jeffrey Epstein’s “madam” was also given extra exercise time in the yard as part of a series of measures that will make her life behind bars easier.

The 58-year-old British socialite is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
It’s been described as a “hellhole” where Maxwell will face a “crushing experience”.
She’ll remain at the lock-up ahead of her trial for alleged sex crimes, which is due to take place next year.
Now one inmate at the jail told the New York Daily News that shortly before Maxwell arrived this month, the prisoners were told to clean the second floor.
“The only time we were allowed on the floor Ms. Maxwell has to herself is when they sent us to clean it and polish the floor for her,” the inmate said.
“We had to polish it three times so it would be ready for her.”
It’s likely the inmates were tidying up for Maxwell’s arrival at the jail, rather than because the prison would be under closer scrutiny after her arrival.
The inmate added that Maxwell is being given three hours of recreation time per day, compared to other inmates’ two hours.
She is allowed the yard to herself – with other women locked inside while she is outside.
Lawyers with clients inside the jail say she also has 24-hour security outside her cell, and is regularly moved between cells so guards can check for contraband.
It comes as the Brooklyn jail’s former warden revealed that she should prepare for the worst as fellow inmates will see attacking her as a “badge of honour”.
Cameron Lindsay said: “You go from living a life like Maxwell to all of a sudden being in a situation where you’re being strip-searched and having people look into your body cavities.
“That is a crushing experience.”
Officials fear Maxwell is a suicide risk following the death of Epstein inside his cell last year.
He was awaiting trial for sex crimes at the time of his death.
He had recently been taken off suicide watch and guards had failed to check on his cell on the night he died.
An official autopsy concluded that he killed himself.
‘ATTACKING HER WOULD BE A BADGE OF HONOUR’
Tomorrow, hundreds of pages of secret documents, including a “extremely personal” deposition Maxwell gave in a lawsuit brought by Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts, are expected to be unsealed.
It comes after a judge ruled the documents – which could contain details incriminating others in Epstein’s circle – could be made public.
Maxwell’s legal team had the order put on hold while they appealed.
However, earlier this week, the same judge ruled the documents should be made public as soon as possible.
All of the files related to a deposition Maxwell gave to investigators in 2015 when she was sued for defamation by Virginia Roberts, Epstein’s primary accuser.
The documents are thought to contain “nude, partially-nude, or otherwise sexualized images, videos, or other depictions of individuals”.
Maxwell’s lawyers have also said they contain “intrusive questions about her sex life”.

The case was eventually settled out of court, with Maxwell reportedly paying Roberts ‘millions’, and all documents relating to it were put under lock and key.
Roberts is also the woman who was photographed with Prince Andrew at Maxwell’s London home, and who claims he had sex with her three times – including once while she was under age.
The prince has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.
