[Women's Lacrosse] Tullar, Crump Earns NAIA Player of the Week Honors

Kansas City, MO – For the second time this season, Samantha Tullar and Emily Crump have swept the NAIA national player of the week honors, announced by the national office Tuesday. Tullar was named the NAIA Offensive Player of the Week, while Emily Crump earned NAIA Defensive Player of the Week. The Patriots went 3-0 on the week and are now 7-0 on the season.
Tullar earned offensive player of the week honors after recording 21 goals, 10 assists and 31 points in UC's three games. Tullar opened the week by tallying seven goals and five assists in Cumberlands 25-2 win over Shorter. It was her first game of at least ten points since February 13, 2019. The redshirt junior followed that up with eight points against (RV) Indiana Tech. The Randolph Center, VT native capped off her week by tying her career-high with nine goals in the win over Missouri Valley. In addition to her offensive scoring Tullar also scooped her 100th career ground ball and 13 draw controls on the week.
