Even though many people don't get an official day off for Black Friday, it might as well be its own holiday. After all, it's one only the biggest shopping events of the year. If you're hoping to score some steep discounts on beauty, be sure to hit up Sephora's Black Friday sales. Yes, that's right, sales.
Sephora is currently running two sales in the lead up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The first is a surprise sale with discounts up to 50% off makeup, skincare, haircare, and more. The second is a daily flash sale with discounts up to 50% on select products that are announced the day-of. As of this post's publishing time, Urban Decay's Naked3 Palette is half-off and its Perversion Mascara is $10, on sale from $24.

Why these are the best deals:
As far as we can tell from the preview of deals on Sephora's app, the $15-and-under category is a mix of value sets and full-sized items that are steeply discounted. While the sets are inherently great because they're always worth more than the sticker price, the discounted full-sized items are the best deals right now.
These items are all currently available on Sephora, so we were able to confirm that the original prices are representative of full- or standard-sized products and that the discounts are indeed worth taking advantage of.
Sephora is running a current sale on makeup, but skin-care and hair-care products are seldom discounted (save for Beauty Insider sales, but those are specifically for members of its loyalty program) and when they are, the discounts aren't massive.

No. Sephora will not be open on Thanksgiving.

This year, Black Friday officially falls on November 29, but Sephora's deals will likely be available earlier than that. We'll update this post as soon as we get an official date.

Sephora Beauty Insiders with Rouge status automatically qualify for free standard shipping.
