Chelsea will be taking over the role of Women's Coordinator from Meg Hishmeh. Meg was appointed by Joan Mariconda in 2003 to head the girls/women's referee staff. During her time as coordinator she helped many female officials reach their officiating goals including helping them get their IIHF certification to officiate world championships and even the Olympics, which she herself worked in 2010 in Vancouver. We thank Meg for her dedication and support of the Atlantic District Women's Officiating community and USA Hockey.
I would like to congratulate Chelsea Ward-McIntosh on her appointment to this position and look forward to working with her in the future.
