Korea’s Dae-Ho Lee named Hublot Player of Game in semifinal victory over Japan
TOKYO — Designated hitter Dae-Ho Lee was named the Hublot Player of the Game for his heroic role in South Korea’s semifinal win over rival Japan at a sold out Tokyo Dome.
With his National Team facing elimination and trailing 3-2 with the bases load in the top of the 9th inning, Lee hit a 2-run single down to the left field line that sent South Korea into the WBSC Premier12 Global Championship Finale.
Lee plays for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks of Nippon Professional Baseball in Japan.
The Hublot Player of the Game is part of an official sponsorship of the luxury Swiss watch brand and the world governing body, WBSC.
In addition, Hublot is the Official Timekeeper of the 2015 WBSC Premier12.
