10/21 Storm Tracker Forecast: Slightly warmer to start the work week
We will unfortunately remain below average to start out the work week. After a very chilly start, mainly in the upper 20’s and low 30’s we will warm to above where we were on Sunday, but we will remain near 50 degrees. We look to remain mostly dry as well with a mix of sun and clouds through the afternoon, however, an isolated flurry can’t be ruled out early on in the Catskills and a quick sprinkle possible through the afternoon in the Adirondacks.
Aside from that we are looking at a fairly quiet Monday, winds will begin to shift once again, instead of the northwest they will go back to being more southwesterly which will help to usher in the “milder” air by the time we get into the afternoon and into the day on Tuesday. Scattered showers will be likely for most through Tuesday afternoon and evening out ahead of an approaching cold front, but it will not be a washout. We turn fairly quiet but chilly for the second half of the week before things could turn interesting heading into next weekend. There is the potential for an east coast storm, do we have impacts here? Still too soon to tell, however we have a good chance of seeing a few showers both days.
Have a great week!
