Liam Payne and actress Rebecca Ferguson leave The One Show viewers CRINGING as they outrageously flirt
LIAM Payne and Rebecca Ferguson left viewers cringing as they outrageously flirted on The One Show on Friday.
Doctor Sleep actress Rebecca, 35, struggled to keep a straight face and even slapped Liam’s leg as sparks flew between them.
It got a bit awkward after Liam, 26, revealed that he’d love to act and a photo of the One Direction hunk flashed up on screen dressed in Peaky Blinders gear.
Clearly impressed, Rebecca giggled and said: “Ooh you are such a thespian! You are everywhere.”
Moments earlier, a clip of the Pillow Talk singer on Ant Middleton’s SAS Who Wins aired and he was seen performing a stunt on a moving train, leaving stunning Rebecca awestruck.
And when he got up to sing a track from his debut album, Rebecca slapped his thigh as Liam stifled a laugh.
The Swedish actress gave him a knowing look, leaving viewers at home baffled, as one person tweeted: “Rebecca Ferguson is clearly in love with Liam Payne”
Another said: “#rebeccaferguson – a devastating flirt … with Liam Payne on #theoneshow and bit cringey.”
A third wrote: “What a shame. Liam going to prepare has had to halt the flirting so obviously going on.”
As a fourth tweeted: “Liam’s done a runner then #TheOneShow”

Her most recent role was as a singer in The Greatest Showman.
Meanwhile, Liam opened up about being a dad to two-year-old son Bear whom he has with ex-girlfriend Cheryl Tweedy, 35.
He said: “It is difficult being on the road, going out and promo-ing. It has been hard to get home and see him. Loads of random things happen with kids all the time. Like if he’s not very well, sometimes you miss dates and things. Then a couple of weeks go by, and I haven’t seen him in ages.”
