Primark shopper spots awkward spelling mistake on Friends T-shirt
AS much as we hate to admit it, we spend at least two hours everyday watching reruns of Friends… it’s shameful but true.
Which is precisely why we’ve been ALL over Primark’s new merchandise (including these matching Rachel Green and Monica Geller PJs) to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the hit US sitcom.
Can YOU spot the spelling mistake in this slogan t-shirt?[/caption]
However, the brand has brought out a unisex T-shirt as part of their news Friends merchandise featuring a pretty bad – yet extremely well hidden! – typo.
Unimpressed shopper Dan Molloy, from Manchester, tweeted a photo of the t-shirt and didn’t spot the glaring mistake until AFTER he’d worn it out. Awkward.
In case you’re struggling to spot it (us too), the slogan t-shirt is supposed to read “I’d rather be watching Friends” but is missing the letter “i” in watching.
He wrote: “I got this top from you and have now noticed a typo in it.

“How ridiculous that no one (including me) noticed it and it was allowed to be displayed and sold.”
Fortunately for Dan, Primark’s customer service team replied to his tweet and reassured him that he’d be refunded if he returned the T-shirt in store.
However, we can personally relate to the user who replied with: “Took me a min to see it!”
But this isn’t the first time Primark has accidentally sold items with glaring errors – earlier this month, shoppers were in hysterics over an awkward spelling mistake on a Disney Christmas bauble.
