Nice striker Kasper Dolberg has £62k watch STOLEN by team-mate Diaby Fadiga as French side launch disciplinary action
NICE star Kasper Dolberg had a £62,000 watch nicked from the dressing-room by his teenage team-mate Lamine Diaby-Fadiga.
The striker, 21, was fuming when his timepiece was stolen on September 16 and reported it to police.
Dolberg, an £18million summer signing from Ajax, is still not believed to have retrieved it but now has confirmation of the culprit.
In a hugely embarrassing incident for Nice, their 18-year-old prodigy Diaby-Fadiga has now allegedly admitted to the theft, according to reports in France.
The Ligue 1 side opened an internal investigation and interviewed the accused U18 French international.
And now he could face the sack and potential legal proceedings as he owned up.
However, Nice are still refusing to “comment on the current state of things” as they thrash out what to do next.
Diaby-Fadiga is one of the most promising prospects in France and has been at the club since the age of 13, making his debut three years later.
