Thousands call for ‘Beast of Kavos’ rapist to be sent back to prison and locked up FOREVER for preying on British victims
THOUSANDS of people have signed a petition saying the serial rapist known as the Beast of Kavos should be sent back to jail after he preyed on British women on a Greek island.
Dimitiris Aspiotis, 47, was initially given a 52 year prison sentence in 2012 after raping at least six British women during cocaine-fuelled rampages.

But he was released by authorities 43 years early due to a controversial law which was introduced to ease overcrowding in Greek jails.
Nearly 5,000 people have now signed an online petition calling for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to put pressure on the Greek authorities.
Jamie Morgan, the brother of Kayleigh Morgan, 32, who was one of Aspiotis’ victims, set up the petition which reads in part: “This monster should not be out on the streets of Kavos or anywhere in any circumstances.”
After being freed Aspiotis returned to Kavos where he carried out the attacks.
In August it was revealed that Aspiotis was drinking in bars popular with tourists and later he posted selfies from the resort.
In a bid to warn holidaymakers of the danger, a This Morning camera crew tracked him down to a bar and confronted him with his crimes against a string of British women.
Aspiotis covered his face and scurried away to a dark corner of the venue.
14-HOUR ORDEAL
During a 46-day drug-fuelled rampage he dragged women into woodland, raped them at knife-point for hours before robbing them.
Kayleigh bravely waived her anonymity to talk about her ordeal and warn others after she was raped five times by the monster during a 14-hour knifepoint ordeal when she was 23 and working as a holiday rep in August 2010.
Appearing on This Morning, Ms Morgan said business owners should ban Aspiotis for the safety of their customers.
She said: “They claim they’re bothered about tourism.
“But how can they be bothered about tourism when a rapist is on the loose?”
Kayleigh’s MP Nic Dakin said: “This is deeply disturbing. There are many questions for the Greek authorities in the way they handled this case, especially the impact their decision has on the victims and the risks he poses.”
Since his release, Aspiotis has insisted he won’t re-offend — because he’s got a girlfriend now.

Speaking to the Sunday Express, Aspiotis claimed: “I have met a girl and only think of her now. I am not allowed to leave Corfu, but they let me see her on Paxos.”
The rapist even expressed remorse, adding: “I am so sorry. To make it not happen I would do anything.”
And he said his “brain was clear” because he was no longer using hard drugs.
